My name is Kealy Allen. My pronouns are she/her. I am a 26-year-old currently residing in Vancouver, Canada.

In the Spring of 2021 I graduated from university completing my Bachelor of Journalism.

During my final year at university, I was enthusiastic about gaining practical writing experience beyond the classroom. This led me to contribute to two publications: Sheesh Magazine, a digital publication,

and The Runner, a community-based newspaper.

​

Following my graduation, I dedicated a year to digital content creation, copywriting and

event planning at Il Centro Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver.

 

Currently, I'm freelancing as a writer, editor, and social media creator for various Instagram accounts and publications.

 

I'm a creative professional known for my innovation and passion. I have a demonstrated ability to

conceive and execute visually captivating ideas, particularly in culture, arts, mental health,

and wellness related topics.

 

My years of experience have significantly strengthened my skills in communication, writing,

editing, digital content creation, design and social media management.
